GPs at Yeovil Health Centre are reminding people to think twice before they head off to a busy district hospital Accident & Emergency (A&E) department with only minor ailments or injury over the August Bank Holiday.

DOCTORS working in Redbridge have gone public with their anger at proposals to axe King George Hospital's A&E, claiming it will cost lives. Twenty-three GPs have so far put their name to a petition calling on health chiefs to abandon the plans threatening the A&E, in Barley Lane, Goodmayes.
