Google on Wednesday revealed a free online navigation service that will be a part of its forthcoming Android 2.0 mobile operating system. It could also come to the iPhone , the company said, if given the green light by Apple. Motorola Inc. and Verizon Wireless on Wednesday unveiled the Droid smart phone , which the companies plan to aggressively push as a challenger to Apple Inc.'s iPhone. The Droid, which will go on sale for $199 starting Nov. 6, is the first device using Google Inc .'s Android software to run on Verizon Wireless' network.
